Standing near the lighthouse at the south end of the peninsula, you can see Ireland on a clear day. As stormy as the sea is the history of the many distilleries of which only two survived.
The style of this small region is sometimes defined to be in between Lowlands and Highlands, but in my opinion 2 working distilleries are too few to define an individual style, nevertheless i really like the make from Springbank.
